He is survived by: his mother Michelle Armstrong Lavere; his stepfather Douglas Lavere; his brother Charles Thomas Johnston of Kings Mountain, NC; his aunts, Melissa Armstrong and Tina Armstrong of Gaston County, NC; his uncle Troy Winder of Bessemer City, NC; his grandfather Reverend Ted Adams (Jacqueline) of Charleston, SC; his aunt Aja Blanding (Devin) of Grove Town, GA; his cousins, Alaija, Daevon and Ayana; and his uncle Silas Adams (Shana) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
