He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wingo and Sarah Crockett; and his siblings, Robert Crockett (Lorraine Crockett) and Laveda Harrison (Larry Harrison). He is survived by: his wife Ester C. Wingo; his children, Randy (Arandra Wingo), Robert (Sharon Wingo), Clarence (Cheryl Wingo), Calvin (Roberta Wingo) and Terricia Wingo of Kings Mountain; and his cousin Wilhelmina Miller. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
