Darrel Lahrmer Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 15, 2026, at the age of 83, Darrel Lahrmer of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, born in Oak Hill, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lahrmer and Rosa Lahrmer; his wife Willie Mae Lahrmer; his daughters, Julie Ann Lahrmer and Janis Martin; his grandson Brandon Huffman; and his siblings, Virgil, Garnet, Ruth, Thelma, Foster, Arnold, Marilyn, Estel, Doris, Morris, Carol and Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Beverly Corn (Kenny) and Danny Smart (Sunni); his grandchildren, Makensi Corn, Amanda Nalley (Eric) and Seth Smart (Katie); his great grandchildren, Destiny Huffman, Hunter Nalley (Kiley), Kaleb Nalley, Koe Smart and Leland Smart; and his great great grandchild Ruby Bowman Lahrmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the NRA or the American Legion.
