He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Meeks Smith and Wilbur G. "Mutt" Smith; and his siblings, Richard Smith and Louzelle "Lou" Smith Durden. He is survived by: his wife Krista Blanton Smith; his children, Laura Dixon and Matthew Smith; his granddaughter Haley; and his brother Tom Smith. He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the Harris Funeral Home (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
