It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Pearl Brice Bridges of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Harvey Brice and Mattie Bell Skinner; her son Stanley Bridges; and her siblings, Lucille Owens, Nellie Jackson, Myrtle Hughes, Harvey Brice and Albert Brice.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Henry Bridges of Kings Mountain; her son Craig O'Brien Bridges (Donna) of Kings Mountain; her sisters, Jean Cash (Paul) of Charlotte, NC and Lois Bundrick (Freddie) of Spartanburg, SC.; her grandchildren, Ashley Toler (Alan) of Candler, NC, Chelsie Capps (Eli) of Denver, NC, Courtney Bridges of Kings Mountain, Sarah Easler of Shelby, NC and Aaron Easler of Kings Mountain; and her great grandchildren, Asher Toler, Adaline Toler, Chanller Capps and Aubrey Capps. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
