She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gordon and Lola Warren Oaks; her husband Fred Thompson; and her sons, Doug and William Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Thompson of Forest City, NC, Norma Thompson and Deborah Wieland (Casey) of York, SC.; and her brothers, Charles Gordon Oaks Jr. of Hickory, NC and David Oaks (Blonnie) of Shelby, NC. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren 30 Great Grandchildren 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
