She was predeceased by: her parents, James Short and Rosa Benfield Short; and her siblings, Bud, Arnold, Fred, Mack Short, Onas Holland and Naomi Benefield Edna.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Proctor; and her son Eddie Proctor. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
