It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Marie Stephens (Kings Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clark Jerome E Stephens, Sr.; and her brothers, Eric J Hunter and Herbert Monte Hunter, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Spencer Gregory Stephens of Clark Jerome, Stephens Jr. and Lakesha Ja'net Stephens; her mother Dessie R Crosby; her siblings, Fran G Roseboro, Deboria Feemster, Helen M Grier, Sophia N Hunter, Tonya Crosby and Sedrick Crosby; and her daughter-in-law TaWanda R Stephens. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
