He was predeceased by: his parents, Vade Frank and Lorena Wilson Rogers; his former wife Frances Daphine Putnam; his wife Kaye Caroline Jones; and his siblings, Rogers and Dona Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Rodney Rogers, Jr. (Cindy) of Monroe, NC and Candy Turbeville (Jonathan) of Mooresville, NC; and his sister Nancy Talley. He is also survived by two granddaughters, two grandsons, two step granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
