He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Woodrow Howell and Willie Falls Howell Wright. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Beth Rockwood Howell; his children, Tina Bruner (Tom) and Phillip Howell (April); his grandchildren, Josh Bruner (Crystal), Justin Bruner (Sydnee), Kayla Bruner (Christina) and Lyric Weathersbee; his great grandchildren, Sydney, Savannah, Scarlett, Mason, Ryland and Caroline; his sister Carol Dillenger; and his cousins, Gail Rogers, Jane Mauney and Keith Falls.
Interment will be Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1, Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NCIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Methodist Church, Kings Mountain Life Enrichment Center, Shriner's Hospital for Children, or the charity of your choice.
