He is survived by: his significant other Carol Farmer; his children, Lisa Carol Hill Fry (Shari Bowers) of Rocky Point, NC, James Hill of Smyrna, GA and Sean Patrick Hill of Macon, GA.; his stepchildren, James Farmer (Teresa) of Morganton, NC, Michael Farmer (Mary) of Grover, NC, Sharee Nicholson (Brian) of Easley, SC and Ryan Farmer of Kings Mountain, NC.; his grandchildren, Carolyn Rasnikoff (Manny), Allen Fry and Braylon Nicholson; and his great grandchild Violet Rasnikoff.
