He was predeceased by: his son Anthony Dale Ervin; his parents, Robert Gene Ervin and Mary Elizabeth Barnette Ervin; and his pets, Levi and Sampson.
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Reynolds (Frankie) of Kings Mountain; his siblings, Robbie Ervin (Beth) of Roanoke, VA and Teresa Warner of Bessemer City, NC.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Reynolds of Kings Mountain, Courtney Jones of Kings Mountain and Katelynn Reynolds of Chattanooga, TN.; his great grandchildren, Mia Kirby, Roman Kirby, Taylin Jones, Ariana Jones and Kai Jones; his aunt Linda Newton (David) of Casar, NC; and his uncle Jackie Barnette (Patty) of Kings Mountain. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
