He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Ethel Trammel Thompson; and his siblings, Dale Thompson and Judy Casey. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Brown Thompson; his son Johnny Thompson of Shelby; his sister Barbara Honemon (Richard) of Campobello, SC; his grandchildren, Bradley Thompson, Jordon Navey (Derek), Bridgett and Katherine Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Colton and Hunter Navey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
