She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wray and Minnie Starnes Canipe. She is survived by: her husband Coy Lee Phillips; her children, Robert Lee Phillips (Sandy) and Crystal Phillips Bess (Gary); her brother Michael Ray Canipe (Penny); and her grandchildren, Tasha Panther (Justin), Amy Phillips (Kyle), Tyler Bess (Summer), Hali Etters (Lee) and Nathan Bess.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel (216 Archie Whitesides Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eastside Baptist Church (308 York Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28080).
