She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Robinson and Jean Robinson; her husband Jimmy Brown; and her brother Ronnie Robinson. She is survived by: her close friend Frank Lay; her children, Bryan Cochran (Sherra), Kevin Brown (Pilar), Randy "Tal" Dees and Heather King; her siblings, Earl Robinson (Barbara) and Gina Cody (Jeff); her sister-in-law Deb Robinson; her grandchildren, Nicole Cochran (Sean Bailey), Jessica Cochran (Dustin Cullen), Brynna Cochran (Elliot Wright), Josh Bennett, Erin Pennell (Tristan), Michelle Wamsley (Jay) and Parker Lay; and her great grandchild Bree Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Life Church (442 S Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
