He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Walker; his parents, Jonas Walker and Edith Walker; his sons, Jimmy Walker and Jeff Walker; his grandchildren, Marsha Fraley, Kent Green and Johnny Green; and his brothers, Deo of Dean, JC and Winfred Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Walker (Tina) and Judy Green (Bobby); his grandchildren, Robbie Walker, Scott Atwell, Todd Walker, Wesley Walker, Dwayne Green, Christy Green and Jeffery Walker; and his sisters, Wilma Fite and Jean Cain.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel (216 Archie Whitesides Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at the Midview Baptist Church Cemetery (703 Margrace Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
