She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby William and Sybil Blanton Stringfellow; and her brother Tommy Stringfellow. She is survived by: her husband Tony E. Beam; her sister Wendy Stringfellow; her nephews, Jonathan Ballinger, Jr. and Blake Ballinger; Jordan Beam (Ashley), Kristy Watkins (Kevin) and Katie Toste (JP). She is also survived by three step-children.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Rest Cemetery (111 S Dilling St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lyn's honor to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Kings Mountain, NC.
