Michael Ray Hardin Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Michael Ray Hardin of Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Michael, born on September 5, 1960 in Cherokee, North Carolina, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, T. C. Hardin and Jeanette Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Owensby Hardin; his children, Christopher Collett (Katie), Erma Collett and Crystal Truett (Joey); his sister Brenda Gibby (Bill); his nephews, Ben and Tim Gibby; and his close friend Larry Pennell. He is also survived by several great- nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Independent Baptist Tabernacle (2128 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
