He was predeceased by: his father Alexander Adams Jr.; and his brothers, Keith (Wayne Adams) and Tamika Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Olivia Thomas Moore (Karen Stewart Thomas); his children, Keli Louise Lockhart of Grover, NC, Dillon Thomas (Megan Novak) of Kings Mountain, NC and Debbie Early of Kings Mountain, NC; his siblings, Vanessa Thomas, Laura McCluney, Amos "Nes" McCluney Jr. (Tammy), Antoinette Matthews and Beverly Gibbs; and his aunt Ethel Louise Black (James). He is also survived by Many loving nieces, nephews.
He made significant contributions to the retail grocery industry, where he held roles such as assistant manager at Walmart and most recently served as the produce manager for Food Lion.
