He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thompson and Bertie Barber Thompson; his siblings, Sammy, Don, Dick, Bill Thompson, Sharon Boheler, Sandra Miller and Dianne Coggins; and his son Brint Thompson.
He is survived by: his sister Becky Dellinger; and his nieces, Dana Anderson (Kenny) and Ronda Hartman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great - nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Rest Cemetery (111 S Dilling St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
