With sadness, we share the passing of Ronnie Wilson (Kings Mountain, North Carolina). Ronnie, born on March 26, 1947 in Shelby, North Carolina, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. W. Wilson and Lavada McGinnis Wilson; and his siblings, B. C. Wilson, Billy Wilson, Rebecca Wilson, Jean Anderson, Sybile Wilson, Doris Devon and Joyce Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dover Wilson; his sons, Brad (Robin Wilson) and Robbie (Jeannette Wilson); his grandchildren, Emily Doty (Ryan), Will Wilson (Tori), Theresa Gamble, Caroline Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Stephen Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, Andrew Wilson and Nathan Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Doty, Riggs Doty, Kymani Johnson and Jhanaé Gamble. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain (605 W King St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
