He is survived by: his son Joshua Thomas Ellis; his siblings, Linda Bell (Ezell), Becky Ellis Smith (Frank), Kathi Simpson (Tony) and Glenn Ellis; his daughters, Mercedes Riley and Jamaica Jenkins; his grandchildren, Lexxis, Toniyah, Javarein and Zarein; and his great-nephew Tyrece Crawford.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Family Worship Center, Kings Mountain (1818 Shelby Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
