With sadness, we share the passing of Tommy Queen (Kings Mountain, North Carolina). Tommy, born on January 15, 1953, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene and Delora Biddix Queen; his siblings, Ken Queen and Patricia Queen; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Lee Bryson, Phillip Sanders and Tina Radford.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Sanders Queen; his children, Tony Scruggs (Danelle) of Shelby, NC and Gena Treadway (John) of Blacksburg, SC.; his sisters, Gloria Bryson of Gastonia and Elaine Tracey (Mike) of Gastonia; his sister-in-law Kathy Queen; his grandchildren, Shawn Scruggs, Jake Scruggs, Noah Scruggs, Kaitlyn McClure and Jacquelyn Noto; his niece Sherrie Baity (Brent); and his nephews, Doug Bryson (Carri) of Gastonia, NC, Robbie Bryson (Heather) of Gastonia, NC, Kenny Daniel Queen of Kings Mountain, NC, Tim Queen of Kings Mountain, NC and Scott Richardson of Lincolnton, NC.. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain (605 W King St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
