She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hoyle and Mattie Shuford Ponder; her significant other Charles Mullinax; and her sisters, Joyce Mauney, Bleeka Goforth and Patsy Reynolds.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Mullinax Lomas (Todd) of Huntersville and Tara Mullinax Absher (Shane) of Kings Mountain; her sister Linda Appling (Wayne); her grandchildren, Tiffany Smith (Craig), Trent Earls (Meredith), Ashley Deaton (Brad), Blake Hewitt, Kayla Absher and Matthew Absher (Charissa); and her great grandchildren, Riley Brock, McKinley Smith, Charley Smith, Sawyer Earls, Brayden Deaton, Brantley Deaton, Kennedy Hewitt and Aiden Castellano. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but she had a heart for all children.
