Susan Cyr wrote a sympathy message

“My heart & prayers go out to the family of Mr. Allen Lee Mewborn. He lives on as one of the finest people I ever known. His caring spirit was for all people. As a school counselor under him at E.B. Frink School, it was a joy to see how beautifully he worked with children, youth, families and staff as well as in his community.”
