He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Earl Jones, Sr. and Annie Thompson Jones; the mother of his children Brandy White; and his cousin Joe Jones. He is survived by: his sons, Jantzen Jones of Kinston and Jared Puckett of Kinston; his siblings, Lisa Jones Haynes of Kinston, Debbie Jones Grant of Kinston, Amanda Jones Brinkley (Bobby) of LaGrange, David Jones (Vickie) of Kinston and Darrin Jones (Elizabeth) of Grifton; his goddaughter Brandy Jones Burd (Denny) of Pink Hill; and his nieces, Heather Jones Rouse and Erinn Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and special friends.
