Ann Phipps Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 7, 2023, at the age of 82, Ann Phipps of Kinston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinton Whaley and Virginia Waller Whaley; her grandparents, Garland and Annie Loftin; and her uncle Joe Waller.

She is survived by: her children, Ginger Phipps Joyner (Duane) of LaGrange and William Duke Phipps (Tisha) of Kenly; her grandchildren, Emily Hawkins (Paul), Megan O'Neal (Ryan) and Daniel Phipps; her great grandchildren, John Robert Hawkins, Benjamin Wyatt Hawkins, Harrison Ryan O'Neal and Kenan Smith O'Neal; her brothers, Joseph D. Whaley, Robert Whaley, Rusty Whaley and Ronnie Joe Whaley; and her uncle Garland H. Loftin.
