She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl James and Eliza Jane Maready Taylor; her husband Rodney Spence; and her son Henry Clay. She is survived by: her children, Keith Spence of Las Vegas, NV, Annette Spence Ipock (Doug) of Kinston and Jeanette Spence Kennedy (Gary) of Deep Run. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.
