She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Tyson Taylor; her son John Alfred "Johnny" Taylor; and her siblings, Sammie Petteway, Stella Mae Petteway Justice, Velma Petteway Hamilton, Carroll Petteway and Doris Petteway Johnson.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Thomas Justice, Carolyn Justice Elliott, William Justice, David Hamilton, Patsy Hamilton Kennedy, Peggy Hamilton Black, Samuel Petteway, Donald Petteway, Douglas Petteway, Timothy Johnson, Perry Johnson, Shelley Johnson Gualtieri and Carroll Ray Petteway.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jacksonville City Cemetery (1000 Hargett St, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
