It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Lee of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Jones and Lou Ellen Jones; her husband Morris Paul Lee; her son-in-law Aaron Wade, Jr.; and her siblings, Bernice White and Lewis Jones, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Morris Earl Lee (Debbie) and Kay Wade of Kinston; her grandchildren, Tammy Lee Stilley (Jeff) of Greenville, Shannon Wade of Kinston, John Lee (Jenny) of Kinston and Brian Wade (Jennifer) of Kinston; her great grandchildren, Kamryn Woodward, Shelby Lee, Jacob Stilley, Hudson Barker, Avery Wade and Addison Wade; and her siblings, Beatrice Field of Leland, Barbara Arnette, Brenda Mercer of Kinston, Larry Jones (Lula Mae), Buddy Jones of Grifton and Lynn Jones (Diane). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
