Betty Jane Cox Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 5, 2022, at the age of 84, Betty Jane Cox of Kinston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Preston Harrington, Jr. and Polly Louise Edwards Harrington; her husband Maxie Earl "Bud" Cox; her sister Carolyn Malloy; her children, Steven Earl Cox (Melissa) of Kinston and Sonya Cox Wells (Glenn) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Krista Rae Alphin Hicks, Hunter Dawson Wells, Anna Marie Steed and Brandon Lee Wiggins; her great grandchildren, Brier Reed Hicks, Brandie Marie Bollick, Janson Bryce Steed, Levi Andrew Smith and Steven Lee Wiggins; and her brother Preston Ray Harrington III (Daisy) of Greenville, NC. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews, and other close friends and family.
