He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Clemmons Dunn and Ray Dunn; his sister Sandra D. Deaver; and his nephew Richard Hasley. He is survived by: his godsons, Jax Ni, Jie Zaho and Xuferg Ce; his close friend Betty Butler Kyriakidis; his sisters, Jean Hasley and Linda Melvin of Wilson; and his nieces and nephews, Louie (Katy), Quentin, Bolen Deaver, Joshua (Ashley), Jenna, Connor Deaver, Carson (Phillip), Owen Patzer, Tammy, Jessica Rouse, Dionne Hill Williams (Todd), Chris Jones, Corey, Ryan (Jenn), Ava and Aiden Hill.
