She is survived by: her children, Alonza Perry, Antonio Perry of Kinston and Yvette Tune of Kinston; and her siblings, James Bruton, Kenneth Thompson of Kinston, Mary Thompson of Durham and Ruby Bruton of Raleigh. She is also survived by grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Chapel (208 E Blount St, Kinston, NC 28501). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Victory Apostolic Church (5740 US-258, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A burial was held on Monday, August 17th 2026 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
