It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cassandra Ann Kendall (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Cassandra leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Feltus Collier, Sr. and Sudie Mae Borden. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Kendall of Kinston and Alyssia Bynum (James) of Kinston; her brother Jonathan Collier (Mitzi) of Washington, D. C.; and her sister-in-law Christine Collier. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of neighborhood grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
