He is survived by: his mother Tammy Sandlin Perez (Maxwell) of Kinston; his grandfather Clarence Edward Pate; his stepmother Cheryl Blansett; his children, Cloe Elizabeth Pate of Kinston, Skyla Pate of Grifton, Tinslea Pate and Landon Zdelar of Cove City; his siblings, Stormy Leigh Pate, Bryan Craig Pate of Kinston and Dustin Lee Pate of Kinston; his stepsiblings, Julyssa Perez, Nick Blansett and Cholo Perez; and his friend Amanda Davis Condon.
