He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Sparrow Cole; his mother Hazel Byrd Cole Barley; and his siblings, Maurice Danny Cole and Bonnie Jo Hill. He is survived by: his children, Mark Anthony Cole of Kinston and Melissa Cole Fotinos (Anthony) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his siblings, Dorothy Hill of Kinston and Roger Cole (Karen) of Lexington, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
