She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jenkins and Lona Jenkins; her husband Richard Cherry; and her siblings, Harold Jenkins, Wilda Blalock and Jeannie Blevins.
She is survived by: her sister Lilla Livermore of Austin, TX; her children, Tammy Cherry Holt of Whitsett, NC and Rhenn Cherry (Terry) of Kansas City, MO; and her grandchildren, Harrison Holt (Natalie Spinola) of Mebane, NC, Richard Holt (Annie Gray) of Durham, NC, Carly Bullard (Daniel) of Michigan City, IN and Jack Cherry of Houston, TX.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
