He is survived by: his wife Janice Howell; his children, Jennifer Walker (Lee) of Burgaw, Jessica Flewwellin of Kinston and David Howell of Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Gabriel Flewwellin, Devon Flewwellin and Camron Flewwellin; and his brothers, Gary Howell (Vicky) of La Grange and Herbert Seymour of Kinston.
