He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Stanley Humphrey; his parents, Hoyt Humphrey and Ella Humphrey; his brother Robert Murray Humphrey (Donna); his brother-in-law Leroy Whaley; and his niece Jeannie Humphrey.
He is survived by: his sister Pat Whaley of Pleasant Hill; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Toteno of La Grange, Becky Stevenson of Pink Hill, Debbie Jarman of Kinston, Dorothy Winn of La Grange, Lorrie Mercer of Kinston and Scotty Stanley of Trenton; and his nieces and nephews, Deborah Heath (O'Neal) of Pleasant Hill, Ella Flora (Mike) of Rocky Mount, Debbie Neal (Gary) of Newport, Amy Parker, Ashley Holleman (James) of Trenton, Billy Whaley of Pleasant Hill and Jimmie Humphrey (Gigi) of Suffolk, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and close family friends.
