She is survived by: her children, Monroe Tyner of Goldsboro and Nichole Hayes of Goldsboro; her siblings, Bill Hamilton (Barbara) and Darlene Barber (Luby Tyner Jr.); and her grandchildren, Kimberli, Michelle, Brianna, Johnathan, Christopher and Matthew.
