He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Earl Lassiter, Jr. and Charlene Porter. He is survived by: his children, Hannah Lassiter of Wilmington, Samuel Lassiter of Winterville and Gabriel Lassiter of Kinston; his siblings, Alison L. Strommer of Kinston, Melanie L. Singh of New Bern and Bryan Fuller of Philadelphia, PA; his stepmother Anna Lassiter of Trenton; and the mother of his children Laura Baugher. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
