With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Earl King (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Odell Daughety and Lucy Hill Daughety; her husband Kenneth Reginald King; and her sisters, Marcia Daughety Hatchell, Ellen Pearl Daughety and Marianna Daughety Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth R. King Jr. of Kinston, Edna Carol King of Kinston, Montgomery Clifton King of Kinston and Graham Grainger King (Nanette) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Leigh Carol Hardison (Austin), Kristin Brooke Cutlip (Zach) and Kayla Caroline King; her great grandchildren, Kinleigh Blair Hardison, Parker Brooke Hardison and Arden Brooks Cutlip; and her nieces, Kathy Hill Rutz (Don) and Lynn Hill.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the King Family Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made payable to Armenia Christian Church.
