He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Wiggins, Sr. and Julia Shepard Wiggins; his siblings, Isaac Wiggins, Jr., William McKinley Wiggins, Robert Wiggins, Annie Wiggins, Peachie Mae Powell, Lucille Jones and Margie Grandy; his niece Johnnie Mae "Puddin" Rhem; and his son Benjamin Franklin Wiggins.
He is survived by: his wife Minister Mary Wiggins; his daughters, Della Wiggins Lawson (W. Anthony) of Kinston, Tess Wiggins Yost (Robert) of Winter Haven, FL and Dr. Darlene Wiggins Dockery of Alexandria, VA; and his sister Dorothy Wiggins Williams of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
