She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Jernigan and Thelma Jernigan; and her brother Robert Jernigan. She is survived by: her husband James Toler; her children, Rhonda Toler Daughety (Craig) of Kinston, Crystal Toler of Pink Hill and William Carroll Toler (Paula Branch) of Kinston; her sister Nancy Albert (David); her grandchildren, Hunter Toler, Landon Toler, Annabelle Murphy, Mackenzie Daughety, Ashtyn Toler and Jameson Toler; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Toler and Emersyn Toler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard - Carter Funeral Service (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Howard-Carter Funeral Home (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
