He is survived by: his wife Anne Daughety Taylor; his children, Elwood Mac Taylor, Jr. (Tina) of King, NC, Theodore "Teddy" Bryan Taylor (Brandi) of Pfafftown, NC and Lora Taylor Carter (Jeff) of Advance, NC; his grandchildren, Mathew, Karli (Colin), Shawn, Bryan and Chris; and his great grandchild Max Tyler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Richmond Evangelical Church, 4450 Tobaccoville Road, Tobaccoville, NC 27050.
