With sadness, we share the passing of Eva Hewitt of Kinston, North Carolina. Eva, born on June 17, 1946, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Eva for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Perkins and Evelyn Perkins. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Hewitt; her sons, John C. Hewitt (Annette) of LaGrange and Britt Hewitt (Christina) of Goldsboro; her grandson Damon Hewitt (Maddie) of Sherrills Ford; and her granddaughter-in-law Thelma Rouse.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Queen Street United Methodist Church (500 N Queen St, Kinston, NC 28501).
