She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Floyd and Rebecca Quinn Wooten; her children, Terence Grimes (Maria) and Keisha Nelson; her siblings, Geraldine Bowen, Wilma Kirk, Barbara Wooten-Baltimore (Ronald), Warnetta Beasley, James Wooten (Debra) and Anthony Wooten (Wanda); and her grandchildren, Kristen Grimes, Julian Grimes and Malia Williams. She was also cherished by other loving relatives and friends.
