It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Harris (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Williams and Allie Cannon Williams; her husband Charlie C. Harris, Jr.; her sisters, Lizzie Adams Hall, Ruth Mills, Eula Mae Beachum, Mertie White and Mary Moore; and her granddaughter Melissa "Missie" Harris Tyndall.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Harris, David Harris (Sue Ann), Chris Harris (Deborah), Rose Jackson (Tony) and Pam Kesling (Terry); her grandchildren, Mark Harris (Jamie), Rebecca Mansfield (Scotty), Christel Hamilton (Nate) and Scott Harris; her children, Brian Jackson, Victoria Presley (Micah) and Stephanie Flowers (Solon); her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Nolan Harris, Emily, Brenna Mansfield, Kaitlyn Harris, Allison Alphin, James, Sean, Lydia Hamilton, Blake, Brooklynn Jackson, Levi, Charlotte, Naomi, Elliana Presley, Haylee, Allie and Emery Flowers; and her great great grandchildren, Ember Harris and Easton Alphin.
