He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aldridge and Daisy Aldridge; his siblings, Walter Keith Aldridge, Jack Aldridge and Melba Phelps Hardy; and his niece Steva Bledsoe.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Aldridge; his daughter Michelle Aldridge King (Don); his grandson Matthew Aldridge King; and his sibling's children, Billy Hardy, Nancy Sauls and Sue Shelton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
