He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Smith, and Frank Houston Smith, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Gaille Rouse Smith; his children, James Edward Smith and Kimberly Dee Smith; his grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Travis Smith and Tyler Smith; and his brother David Smith. He is also survived by numerous sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
